NOTR - Obeying the Gospel of Christ - 9.6.16

Today's Show: OBEYING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

Chris continues his discussion of the new film "Bridge to Babylon," and the potentially damaging impact that skeptical scholarship can have on the preaching of the Gospel.  The apostle warns that when the Lord returns, He will take "vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel ..."  As such, our obedience to the Gospel of Jesus Christ is of the utmost importance, especially in this era in which universal theology (i.e. the teaching that all religions are somehow one and the same) is often promoted.  But the question is asked: has the handling of the Scriptures by modern critics weakened confidence in the Bible and, as a result, opened the door to apostasy?

Chris, Check into the true Gospel of Yeshua. The Gospel of Yeshua is the Torah. He does not change. He came to change nothing, but to explain and reveal the truth.

I have had a similar experiences with Christians who I thought knew better. More and more are touting the idea that all religions lead to God.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6

--------------Thom,
The Torah is the shadow ....-------------
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. Hebrews 10:1
